Onsite Study Alder in San Jose, CA
TELUS Digital is seeking participants for a study in our offices in San Jose, California. During your on-site session, you will complete 15-20-second videos of easy tasks sitting, standing or moving around while interacting with 1-5 others. The tasks are guided by moderators and can be easily completed by anyone. They do not require prior experience or special skills.
Task requirements:
- Earn $170 for completing a 2.5-hour session
- All ages 18-64 are qualified to participate
- Must be able to read, speak, and understand instructions provided in English
- Must be a US citizen, legal permanent resident, or authorized to work in the USA (proof will be required)
- Bring to the session a few different items of clothing, such as a different T-shirt, blouse, pullover, hoodie, and some accessories, e.g. scarves, hats, glasses, jewellery, or anything else that you normally wear

Compensation
You will be compensated for completing a 2.5-hour session onsite. The compensation will be $170.00.
Payments will be issued via the TELUS AI Community Payment Portal (Hyperwallet), where you can choose the payment method of PayPal, bank transfer, or Venmo.

Project Sponsor
TIAI is collecting the information you submit on behalf of a client of TIAI. Our Client (the “Customer”) is not affiliated with TIAI and is a separate company that operates in the technology industry (“Customer”). We will provide the Customer's name before the Study's commencement. If you decide at that time, or any time after commencing the Study, not to participate, you may withdraw from it without any penalty. Any consent you have provided to transfer information to the Customer will not be effective (i.e., we will consider your consent withdrawn).
Selection Process
TIAI collects personal information to determine whether you are eligible to be considered for the Study. If you are selected you will be contacted with detailed guidelines on how to get started.
Note that submission of this Participation Agreement is not a guarantee that you will be selected for the Study. Even if you meet all of the eligibility requirements, you may not be selected for the Study for various reasons. For example, TIAI may have received a sufficient number of participants with similar characteristics.
Contract Data is collected about people who would like to be considered for our studies. Contract Data is utilized to, among other things, engage with you, set up your profile, administer our contractual relationship, determine project-related eligibility, and meet our regulatory obligations. We do not share the Contract Data with the Customer.
Demographic Data refers to additional data that we collect, which is not mandatory when registering with us, and that helps us evaluate your suitability for studies. If you are selected to participate in this Study we may share some Demographic Data with the Customer. The Demographic Data is anonymized and not tied to your personal information.

Work Product Data refers to data we, or our Customer, collect specific to this Study. Whether we collect Work Product Data on behalf of our Customer or our Customer collects it directly, our Customer controls how it is used and shared. For more information about how the Work Product Data will be used, stored, and shared you should review the Customer’s Informed Consent Form, which will be shared with you before collecting Work Product Data. If you are selected, the name of our customer will be provided to you before the initiation of the Study if required by applicable Laws. If you choose not to participate after being informed of the Customer’s name, and reviewing the Informed Consent Form, you may withdraw from the Study, and withdraw any consent that was provided to transmit your information to the Customer, without detriment.
Special Category Data. Some of our studies involve the collection of data that may be more sensitive than others. If this Study involves such data, we will separately ask your consent to collect and transmit it to our Customer.
